Advanced GIS Training at Vadodara - 16-22 Jan 2010

Green Eminent invites application from the candidates for the attending the Training Workshop to be organised on Geomatics - Environment, Water Resources, Flood Hazard Zones and Transportation Development Project.
The fees for the each workshop would be Rs. 2500/- (5 days training) inclusive for basics of Geomatics and one choosen workshop topic.

Participants are request to send their application before 10th January along with Demand Draft of Rs. 2500 (Non Refundable) payable in favour of "Green Eminent, Vadodara". and mail the details at gercbrd@gmail.com. The fees are inclusive of workshop materials, lab charges and light snacks only.

REUNION09 GEOGRAPHY

Dear Alumnis and Friends,
We are waiting to welcome your participation on the 26th December 2009, GBM at department of Geography, MSU-Baroda. In addition a reunion is organised at private place. Following is the schedule -
REUNION
Venue : Tasha - Ajwa, Vadodara
Time: 11.00 am - 4.30 pm
Contribution: Rs. 200 per person.
Bus Timings: 9.00 am Bus would start to take registered participant to the venue and back from Pratapgunj Gate of MSU.
Alumni can join reunion - with families. You should register on 26th inorder to participate in event and contribute towards making the reunion joyful. Students of Department of Geography is also invited to attend the reunion after paying participation charges on 26th at the Alumni Registration Counter.

Annual Meeting and Reunion on 26-27th December 2009

Dear Friends
We are arranging for reunion and General Body Meeting for the MSUGeographer Alumni Association. The association is registered and wehave started functioning from the current financial year. Followingare the upcoming activities:
26th December - 12;30 - 2.00 pm Executive Body Meeting (Present)
4.00 -5.00 pm GBM and Alumni Meet
27th December 9.00 am - 5.00 pm Reunion Gettogether at Sindhrot (OnSevasi Road) on Payment basis (Rs. 150-200 per head)
Note: All are requested to pay - Rs. 25/- as Annual Membership and members can also join as Life Membership after payment of 2500 /- (pre2006) and 1500/- (2006 & onwards) as one time membership fees.
It is proposed that the annual members would have limited rights toparticipate in the annual activities of the Alumni. Whereas the Lifemembers can have extended rights (these are proposals only we need todiscuss in present GBM)

Geographers : Contribution invited

Green Eminent - Research Centre, invites contributions in form of project briefs, papers and data for its upcoming publications on the Public Social Development Reports of states of India (2010 AD). Likely to be published in March 2010. Authors are request to submit the papers and reports concerning their areas of study in typed format with resumes. Selected contributors for the reports would be paid a token remuneration for their contribution.
